    Re: 8100 VS 8700 Pictures

    Few quick notes:

    A: No stock holster. YAG
B: Trackball kind of sucks...scrolls down or up too fast at times
    C: Photo Caller ID
D: Be careful with this thing, because you will easily be able to scratch the hell out of the lens for the camera
    E: ZEN PRELOADED!
    F: BB MESSENGER PRELOADED!
G: Can't click trackball to bring up menu lists in some programs.
    H: Small and light
I: Moved around some of the symbols on the keys
J: Convenience keys are in inconvenient places.
K: Keys feel like a mix between the 8700 and 7200 series. Not too tough, but not as "rubbery" as the 72 series

Will post tons more here in a bit.

    Re: 8100 VS 8700 Pictures

Oh yeah, and as seen in leaked pictures, the whole back part comes off, not a battery door like on others.

I have a feeling quite a few of the rears are going to wind up broken.

Oh yeah, and when its asleep, just moving the trackball doesn't wake it up.

Have to press a button or hit the back button.

    Re: 8100 VS 8700 Pictures

Dunno nick...I think thats kinda dumb that everyone is saying "ooh, it switches devices" anyways because even on the old DM it automatically recognized the PIN of the device entered. Let me play some more and see whats up...Gonna be a filled day..The pearl and the new 4.2 os for the 8700! WOOT!

    Re: 8100 VS 8700 Pictures

I was wondering if switching devices means no back up, just click the switch and it loads everything onto the new BB. That's what I was hoping for anyway.
