There are other alarms for the bb around, but I don't think that will fix the volume problem.
I have same problem, I have my bb right next to me with the speaker facing me otherwise I have trouble hearing it as well.
I don't know if plugging a small external speaker (ipod size) in the ear socket may help. Anything is worth a try I suppose.

    Good Luck

my alarm works great, it keeps going off, then my wife beats me over the head with it and tells me to shut the damn thing off before it wakes up the baby...... damn reliable if you ask me

you must hit snooze for the alarm to go off again.. otherwise it'll shut off. I dont like that feature either... it has caused me to wake up late a few times

I really wish the phone screen would flash on and off or atleast turn on when the alarm goes off. I have a real hard time finding my pearl in the morning to turn the alarm off.

Same thing's happened to me the past two days. The weird thing is that I've had the Pearl for two months and it's always worked before. I must've changed some setting without knowing it. I'm thinking of using my 8700 sans sim card as an alarm while I sort this out.

Anybody have any luck with Mobylo MultiAlarm? It's exactly what I have been looking for in an alarm app, but I can't find the Profiles. It says you need to designate the three tones in "your profiles", but I can't find profiles anywhere. I'm pretty sure I'm not blind or stupid. I'm wondering if it's just not yet tuned for the Pearl. So far, MultiAlarm is useless for me. You?

jason - your profiles are where your 'alerts' are stored...does that make sense?
profiles>advanced is where you will change them.

I use my pearl also. Awesome alarm.Matter of fact my wife can't stand me using my pearl so much but she also depends on me to wake her. She loves the 5 minute snooze function of the phone. I wake her at 5:30 and we then keep hitting the snooze until 6am. I have asked her to use her alarm clock and she said no I like your alarm better!

Thanks for the mobylo link I just finished setting it up and testing the alarm... I'll try it in the morning to see if it is effective enough for me. So far I have just kept using my old Motorola phone as my travel alarm

OH! Okay. I was looking for a 'profiles' option within the MultiAlarm app. Thanks!

hey guys I found that the MUTE button on the top of the pearls actually acts as a snooze button. When you push it the snooze dialog box still stays on the phone but dont worry it will still ring again in 5 mins...

*test it out first before using it in the morning ... I take no responsibility if you are late for work*
