Question AIM & MSN apps not working

So the 8120 comes with separate apps for YIM, AIM, and MSN, as well as the generic IM that comes with all three + ICQ (but only lets you sign into one).

YIM works just fine, but I believe that app was downloaded on my 8100 and transferred over when I loaded all my data from the old phone.

ok, so my problem is this: As I attempt to sign on to either one of these, I get "Service is not available for this handheld."

Anybody else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Sounds like a service book issue. Check your BIS online account and click "resend service books" wait and see if that fixes it.

    Hope it helps!

oh, good call! Not only that, signing in also prompted them to switch my device. My pin was still set to the old phone on the system.

once I changed that and resent service books, it worked immediately. Thank you so much!

I'm confused, I don't know what the BIS is, and can't find anywhere to resend service books. I use T-mobile btw

Log on to t-mobile's website using your mobile number and navigate around a little, it's under something like device support or something.
