Just got the new white pearl BB 8100 and thus my first post. What's the easiest way to get my address book from my old 7100t (T-mobile) to my new pearl?

Hello cwinner! I am a newbie but will try to help: check out your Desktop Manager application, it should have an icon for "Switch Device Wizard." Looks like a cool utility for just what you want to do. I haven't tried it myself, as this is my first BlackBerry in a while. Will leave it to the more experienced pinstackers to correct me if I am wrong... enjoy your Pearl, I am luvin' mine!

thx Mike! This is my 3rd BB, having had the blueberry as the original. I'll try the desktop app, but my guess is i have to plug my 7100t in and upload directly then switch the sim card back to the new pearl (which is white btw....:-) and then download. Let me know if you or anyone else has a better/different idea.

You don't need to have the SIM card in the old BB. Or even the New one for the switch Device Wizard to work.

    Hope this helps.

Some of the older versions that were on CD's actually deleted app's. If you are using one that you have used before you are most likely fine!
