    Address book sync problems

    Using an 8120 thru work on BES with domino server.

    On all my previous BB devices no problems

    With the 8120 cannot sync address book

    just keep getting " operation terminated un expectedly"

    Had a look at lots of things but only clue I can find is that if I go to the field mapping section in DTM, it also comes up with an error, as if there are no fields mapped.


    Any idesa folks !!

    PS this issue is only affecting collegues whith pearls - all other devices work fine !

    Don't know if this will help but worth a try. Go to your address book on your BB and hold ALT while pressing RBLD. this will rebuild the address book then try to sync again.

    Still having trouble with this

    I think ive narrowed this down to a field mapping issue.

    In desktop manager if it go through sync set up and go to field mapping I get the following error

    0x82bc4005 - Check documentation

    and it wont show any field mapping

    Dont know why as I am on corporate system and this works for everyone else !!

    Anyone know what that error means ?? - Orange dont !!!

    I am not sure if you are talking about this but I know I just got my pearl and I had lost everything on my phone so what they told me to do was go to addy book and hit the menu button go to sim phone book and menu again and than go to copy all to address book and your done but i think that is only able to do it if you have a old card that you have put in the phone like just bought i new phone you know what i mean.. DOnt know if this is what you are talking about but hope that I was able to help
