address book from mac os, help

I know mac OS integration is unsupported and poor but I've still got to try!
I can transfer my address info (vcf file) to my G4 powerbook, but I can't seem to get the reciprocal to work. I've pairing accepted and an established connection. Anyone a mac whiz who's figured this out? I'd appreciate the help.

First, What type of device are you using? As long as it is not the new 8100 Pearl, you can use Pocketmac, from Pocketmac.com. Thanks to RIM, the software is now free. Now, if you do have the Pearl, things get a little harder...Support is not available to the public yet as it is still in testing with RIM. If you have access to a Windows based machine, use it by exporting from iCal, or whatever prgrm you run, and importing into Outlook. The problem w/ bluetooth sync is the fact that RIM's bluetooth driver is not working w/ Mac in that capacity, once Pocketmac for OS 4.2 is released, maybe bluetooth will also work. There are plenty of good solutions to sync an outlook calendar and an ical calendar, you'll have to find one for yourself. Sorry to say the Pearl is rather limited at the moment.

I used Pocketmac with a 7130 and a 12" Powerbook, and it did the job well. One glitch - it duplicated the contacts on my BB one time. Easily fixed, however.

The new version of PocketMac will be released shortly. I have been beta testing the new verision and it works well.

    Hello!

Thanks so much for your interest in the beta test!

Currently, our beta tester pool is full (we had way more testers than we
bargained for!), and so we had to close the pool so we could manage the
feedback and get it to the developers.

We’re expecting a release within a week now, and very excited! Please keep
your eye on the notices: we’ll post news everywhere we can the moment it’s
    in release!

    Have a great day!

ok, thanks. I know it just came out and I don't want to be "one of those guys". Just didn't know if there was a workaround. I can wait. Oh, and I have a pearl. Just thought it was self-evident from the forum type.

So when you say "shortly"...does this mean this year? I can't wait anymore!
