Adding a signature to SMS or Email?

I went through the big manual twice and could only find something referencing BES signatures for email. Im not using the BES software so how can I add signatures to my web based email accounts and also my SMS texts?

If you put your contact information in the Owner area in Options and then in your email/sms type "sig" (no quotes) as soon as you hit the space bar it'll put the contents of your "Owner" area in there. Alternatively, you can go into Options and into Autotext and choose new and associate a letter sequence to your signature. For me, I use sss because I wouldn't normally use this key sequence. Then it puts the content of my sss entry in as my sig.

    Does this make any sense?

Holy cow you rock man!! That was awesome. Totally what I was looking for. Is there a way to have different signatures for different emails? Id like to have a business sig with my business email and personal with my yahoo email.

Go into options then choose auto text. You can create your own entries so when you type a certain series of letters of numbers it will populate whatever you want.

    Example...

Create an auto text entry for "Have a nice day". Put the shortcut as nd, so when you type nd it will populate have a nice day. You can get creative and make whatever you want.

As well, with BIS 2, you can add a signature to each email account that will be automatically appended to all emails.

However, you won't see the signature in the email, as it is added AFTER you send the email.

This BIS signature method is good for when you want the same signature sent with ALL outgoing emails on a single account.

The AutoText signature method is good if you want more than one signature for each email account.

    T-Mobile's BIS Server allows signitures

I just checked and T-Mobile's BIS server does indeed allow a custom signiture for each account set up for the Blackberry.
