If you are looking for a skin to protect your pearl I recommend Best Skins Ever product...great product at a great price.

Thanks. I've never seen a skin like that, but I love the concept because as the description states, the phone is beautiful, and normal skins really detract from that.

I can speak from experience and the Best Skin Ever is exactly what is says. I have a full skin for mine and its like magic. I dropped my phone the other day and not a scatch on it...

The 'applying' with moisture seems a little weird.

    Is it difficult?

Not difficult...but takes patience. There is a great post from Cherri in the Curve forums with pic's, instructions and testimonials...I will see if I can find it.

    Re: A good glove

I'm forwarding all this information to my wife as it comes in.

Her major concern is 'breaking' the phone from dropping it.

In this case would a silicone glove be more the way to go?

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

i would check out ebay for silicon skins. For my pearl i hade a fully enclosed leather "skin" that zipped around the pearl and a full front plastic piece...the only thing that stuck out was the pearl...don't reccommend using best skins ever if You are going to go with a case that hase the plastic screen cover, i have heard some horror stories of the BSE sticking to the plastic front and leaving a gunky mess behind.

    Re: A good glove

from droppage then you may want a case, or the silicon skin as you were asking about.

Bestskinsever paired with a case or silicon skin would be your best bet. Since it will protect from scratches and droppage.

I have both...bestskinsever and a Boxwave silicon skin. I have since stopped using the silicon since I keep my pearl in my pocket and it is quite difficult to get in and out. Also it does attract lint when in my pocket, but that is to be expected. It just all depends on what kind you are looking for. I know the OEM one is like 8 to 10 bucks.

I know that Seidio has great hard rubberized cases and protect quite well also. Might want to look into that. here's a link to them http://www.seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=1101

    heres a link to boxwave

Vaja has GREAT leather cases and look awesome too. Your wife may like them. Little spendy but well worth it.

    hope this helps

actually no its really easy. in the instructions it says do it after a shower. I took my pearl and left it on the counter while i took one and then put the skin on after. worked like a charm that way.
