I have a 7250 on Verizon and plan on upgrading to an 8700. Definitely have no interest in an 8100....camera, no scroll wheel, no full qwerty, definitely not my style

If I am not mistaken, weren't there rumors floating around that the next round of Blackberries after the 7130/8700(7) were supposed to be wifi equipped? Or am I just day dreaming again?

Yeah I know, I just like agreeing with you! Actually a post or two ago I mentioned I was getting really frustrated when I type the word open, the word porn replaces it, and people kept asking me why am I writing porn. And when I am messaging back and forth with Corporate Sprint Reps that doesnt look too professional!

I can't wait for the release of the 8100. It will have all of the capabilities of the 8700, plus the multimedia features, in a 7100 series form factor, with SureType, which is easier for me to carry around. Can't stand the idea of talking into a flat pancake shaped device.

N8DBB I have no idea if WiFi will be in anything but I sure as hell wish the new 8700 coming to Verizon would have WiFi. That would be a dream device for me. I am a student and there is free wifi for me all around campus so I could use skype and get e mail and internet etc etc

Let me clarify, sorry. Not WIFI per say, but wifi speeds over the wireless network.

I have just purchased the 7130g. I have an iPod, a Canon Digital Rebel XT, and a PowerBook. (And I also have a razr and a V600 as 'spare' phones.)

There is just no reason to jump on the 8100.
