    8120 or 8320

I have the 8100, and with my tax return I was planning on getting the 8120 or the 8320, but I cant decide, so I wanted to hear some opinions. The 8120 has video recording, and the new 2.3 firmware, but the 8320 doesnt, which Im guessing the only reason it doesnt have recording is because the new firmware. I like the bigger screen and battery life on the 8320, but I dont know if it will be worth it if the new stuff doesnt come to the phone in ages : /

Since you've tasted 8100, going for a larger screen as in 8320 plus longer battery life worth it. After all, 4.5 is coming our way sooner or later (hopefully no longer than March) and all curve will enjoy video recording plus other things. Go for the curve. You'll love it!

ooooo the agony of waiting till march tho >.< See, my dilemma is Im a very indecisive person. Any restaurant I go to I get only one specific meal, which is usually the first meal I order, cause I cant decide on anything else from the particular place, Im also not patient when it comes to techy things.

It depends on your likings, I have yet to try the Curve for myself longer than trying it out in the store. I was trying to type things on they keyboard and I was having ahard time because I love the suretype and i have never used a qwerty key board before. it might be harder for me because I have small hands to being with and thats why I like the suretype better. The larger screen I would like so maybe soon I can try out the curve too but for now my vote is for the Pearl for myself. As for you, if you're not a very patient person then get the pearl if you have the money to do that and dont wanna spend your tax returns on anything else than get the Pearl but if you want to save stick with the Curve since you liked the battery life and bigger screen more.

Another bit of a question, I was comparing the two on BB's site, and the curve doesnt have Bluetooth v2.0, or other bluetooth abilities listed that even the 8100 has, is the v2.0 a biggie, because I use it alot. Curve also didnt have alot of playback abilities for different file formats that the pearl had, then again that could be software.

Go with the 8120. I didn't want to go back to smaller screen/suretype after having the 8300 but I got the 8130 yesterday and am SO happy with my choice!

8120. Even though I have T-Mobile, I will also say get the 8120. I've also come from the SureType family (7100t, 7105t, and 8100). I can't wait to get my hands on either the 8120 or whatever comes to T-Mo next January (2009).

    Re: 8120 or 8320

Thanks for the input, prob gonna have to go with the 8120, just for the fact that I went to the tmo store and played with the curve, and the keys are so small (I have thick fingers) I cant type without hitting the wrong key or an extra key, really quite frustrating. I was also a bit disapointed that the video size was the same, since the UI of the media player itself squashed the video so much.
