    8120 memory card support

Has anyone had any personal success with using an 8GB micro sd with the 8120? I just purchased T-mobile's 8120 and want to make sure an 8gb card will work with it before I buy one. So what's the verdict? Anyone using an 8gb card with your 8120?

I think it depends on your OS. For an 8GB card you must have 4.3.0 or 4.5 OS

I have the tmo 8120 and the 8gb card. It works. The phone is using the OS that originally came with the phone. Version 4.3.0.115.

You might wanna try Buy.com. I got my 2 GB for less that $20. I'm there on the hunt for a 4 GB.

just get the 4gb. its much cheaper. the 32gb is coming out this summer so the prices should drop a little on the 8 gb cause the 32gb needs to be made affordable. i paid $12 for my 4gb kingston from buy.com. it was $22 and i used a 5% off coupon and google check out -$10. total was like $11.25 with free shipping. just look around youll find a sweet deal on it. and dont ever buy anythign else at best buy, please.

Buy.com's price on the 4gb went up to $27 before discounts, after discounts it came to $16 I think, but Amazon has a SanDisk though one of it's integrated retailers that is selling it for $15.
