    Hello all,

I need to do a back up on my blackberry, it seems thou I have a virus or something. The browser doesn't work properly. I can not open up blackberry bookmarks.

When I tried to connect it to my computer, (both of them, Windows had said that my USB device had malfunctioned. Is there any way to back up my data before I reload my device, I have about 700 contacts, a billion e-mails that I need to keep.

    boomboom,

You might also want to first try bouncing your PC to see if that doesn't correct the USB issue. If not, then try uninstalling Desktop Manager and downloading it again, bounce your PC again and see if that does the trick.

    For sure.
    I think a re-install might help a lot.

Maybe be easier then what I had recommended. If it works of course.

Sometimes you just need a fresh install you know what I mean.
