8120 and GPS Navigation - how...??

I've got a blackberry 8120. Had it for a little while now and really like it. One thing that is realy buggin me is I cannot get GPS navigation to work.

I have a bluetooth GPS reciever that i'm able to pair with the phone (in 'advance options' i'm able to recieve my current location)

But I can't for the life of me find out how to display maps on the device. I've downloaded Blackberry Maps to the device - according to the website, that install was successful - however, i've got no new applications.

Anyone have any ideas how to use the navigation functionality on the 8120??

    Thanks

There is an option in "Advanced Settings" for "Maps", have you modified that?

    Hi, Thanks for the reply.

I've found that option - although I can do nothing with it.
The only option I have under Advanced Settings/Maps is:
    Default Service: None

I'm unable to change the 'none' ??

Does your service provider allow BB Maps? It sounds like the issue I have with AT&T where they don't allow use of BB Maps. The fact that you don't have the BBMaps icon showing up now makes me think that might be the case. Have you tried Google Maps or Telenav or something else? There are several free GPS apps you can try.

Nav4All is quite a good free app. I've got this working successfully with my 8120 and a Bluetooth GPS receiver.
