Hi, my BB 8110 indicator light will not stop flashing green, and the battery is barely charging. Any suggestions? I really need your help.

    Thanks in advance!

babygirl, the flashing LED is a setting that you can control by going into Options>Screen/Keyboard and turning the LED coverage indicator off. It's a personal preference for most people. I like to have mine on all the time.

Hi Roger; we meet again. The problem here, is mine was never flashing likethat, until now; it started last night along with the battery problem. My phone has been connected to the charger all day; and it's not even half way charged. What could be the problem there?

Well first let's make sure that setting didn't get turned on somehow.

What charger is the device connected to? Have you tried another charging mechanism? Battery pull?

How do I check the setting? And about the charger; I've tried 2 different ones. And the same thing with both. I haven't tried removing the battery; I'll do that now.

To check the indicator, see post #2.

How long have you had this device?

Thanks, I just checked it, and it's turned off. I've had the device for about 5 months.

Just did it, and now the light is not flashing. But the battery doesn't seem to be charging any quicker. Also, one more questions; which is the latest version of the BB Desktop Manager?

4.7 is the latest DM, but I'd recommend 4.6.

Are you using a wall charger or the USB cable connected to your PC?

While you're at it, see if you have any issue connecting to Desktop Manager.
