My phone speaker doesn't work unless I use the speaker phone or a Bluetooth headset. If I hold it to my head normally, I hear nothing.
Any ideas how to correct this? I did a battery pull.

Did this just happen or has it always been?

This might sound very redundant, but have you checked the volume?

The only other possibility is hardware failure...

Did you drop it or get moisture exposure?

And most importantly, are you still under warranty or have insurance?

Any app you installed recently related to sound? Try changing profiles and checking it.

Its a known issue on the Mexican made 8100... You probably recently had headphones in which haven't released the speaker. Try plugging a wired headset in and put to see if you can get it to release. If so, never use another wired headset or earphones. Good luck. Went thru 3 of those.
