I would like to reveive them in diferent folders. Can it be donne? How must I program or change parameters to acheive that?
Thank you in advance. Jose

Samsung GT-I9100 Galaxy S II (CM 10.2)
Go to your inbox, options, general options, then scroll down to SMS and Email boxes - there you can choose to separate them.
Thank you boath for precious information.
In my OS version (220.127.116.11 - platform 18.104.22.168) this option is not available, and I mut upgrade for newer one 22.214.171.124.
In this moment my provider (TMN in Portugal) doesn't give informations about this and I am somewat afraid to install the last 126.96.36.199 and have problems of compatibilization with my actual connections.
Do you ghave any experience on this kind of manipulation, without supervision of teleph. provider?
Thanky you once again.
I tried this on my pearl and it does not separate the sms and email. I talked to someone from blackberry support and they said their was a patch coming out to separate the two, if anyone knows something different I would love to hear.
If you have any OS version above 188.8.131.52, you have the ability to do this without a patch. Just follow the instructions given in Reply #3.Originally Posted by dsears33
If you have an older OS version, you may want to consider upgrading the OS.

I know this has been asked before. I have been reading different posts, but I can't seem to figure this out. Here is my situation:
I have 8100 with OS v184.108.40.206. I don't have the option to separate SMS and email in my General Email Options. I understand it is only available in OS versions 220.127.116.11, so I just downloaded the latest desktop manager, 18.104.22.168. I deleted the vendor.xl file as it was suggested in the OS upgrade instructions on another thread. But when I started my desktop manager, it did not detect an upgrade. I even tried to do the upgrade manually through application manager. Nothing. I don't know what else to try anymore. Any help??
are you following these directions?
You said you downloaded the latest Desktop Manager. Did you also download later version of the HandHeld software? It is not the samething.
I downloaded the Service Pack2 for the latest version. I thought that included the handheld software as well. Where do I find the handheld software??
