    8100 Pearl

I recently purchased the Blackberry pearl; and installed an icon called mobileplay.com that links you to the internet to view new related information. When I click on this link I get a gateway error, so I'm wondering if anyone knows how to delete this icon(not hide) from the device. I'd even take suggestions on how to get it to work, in which case I don't mind it on the device.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
Options>advanced options>applications. Find the program and delete it by clicking menu. Doing it this way has been known to leave the icon though. Maybe update it without that program, using desktop manager.

If that doesn't work, try going into your browser bookmarks, scrolling down to Browser Channels and deleteing it there also.

I do a backup of my 8100 before I load a couple of new applications. That way if everything goes wrong, I can restore it fairly quick.
