Do I have to delete vendor.xml file before running this downloaded file? Or do I install this first and then delete the vendor.xml file and then connect the Pearl.

I have a unlocked BB TM Pearl. I would like to update it to the 4.5xx one on the BB website - is it stable, which 4.5xx is the most stable on TM Pearl?

    Spiff,

If the OS is not for your specific carrier, then yes, you'll need to download the OS first, then delete the vendor.xml file, then connect, then launch the DM.

You can also get the most current version (4.5.0.81) in this thread.

Please let us know if you need any more info or assistance!

    Regards,
    Roger

Thanks for the quick reply Roger. I will delete the vendor.xml first.

Do you happen to know what version is on the BB website that I linked?

And also which version is the most stable one, T-Mobile has not released an update to the 4.2.0.107, so I want a version that is stable on T-mobile phones and network.

For some reason that link isn't working right now, so I can't tell you what version is there.

I'm an AT&T user, so not sure what version would be most stable on TMO.

    Cheers,
    Roger

4.5.0.81 is available from the link RoGro gave you. This is a very stable OS and works great on the 8100.
