    UAE?

There is a big difference...8100 is the orginal pearl. The 8130 is the upgraded version and is the pearl 2.

Updates on the OS and cosmetic updates as well. If I were you I would go with the 8130

Aside from GPS, wifi, improved camera and a few cosmetic changes, I see no reason to run and upgrade from the 8100. The software can always be upgraded and the internal memory is the same. But that's just my opinion.

I'd say go for it! 2mp camera, GPS, I don't know about that wifi business but I believe the 8130 is a specific reference to EV-DO CDMA devices which means your internet will be rather snappy. Its quite the upgrade! ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

external micro sd slot, wifi/gps, and video capture that is worth the upgrade to me. supposedly the mushy key feeling is gone too.

I wouldn't upgrade on a bet, if the OS is 4.2.1.107. I ran that for about a month, and was truly excited about going back to 4.2.0.64, since 90% of my problems disappeared.

I dunno, when I had a pearl it was running 1.107 since it came out and I had no problems with it what so ever.

What does that have to do with the 8310?
