You probably need to format the card with your phone.

Back up your data first as this will erase all....

    Ok, well...please confirm the following...

Card is in the phone and the phone is NOT connected to your PC. (might try re-seating the card just to make sure it is properly installed).

Media Card Support is set to ON....

Silly question, but the card is inserted correctly and the latch is in the lock position?

As this point here are your options as I see them....

    1. Phone is malfunctioning
    2. Card is bad
    3. Card is not installed correctly

If possible try another card to rule out 1 and 3, and or try the card in another device to rule out 2.....
