    8100 email notification failure

    My Pearl does not notify me when a new e-mail message or text arrives unless I take the battery out to reset it and switch back on, it then works (for a time) before stopping again. I do get the red light flashing but no audible notification. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    have you looked at the active profile your using to make sure you have an audible alert set?

    I have and it all seems to be fine - profile set to Normal and all on medium volume. As I said, it seems to work but only for the first couple of mails that come in, then it goes silent on me!

    What provider are you with? And go to set up internet email and resend service books. Also go to host routing table under options>advanced options and re register your handheld and see how long you'll get your emails and texts for before they stop~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
