    8100 Browser Problems

    Hi All

I've got a new 8100. I'm having trouble with the browser.

After numerous calls to Vodafone, they realised when the phone was dispatched, Blackberry SOC (?) hadn't been enabled. That is sorted now and the email function works fine.

When I try to use the browser the whole device freezes.

I've downloaded a service book. The browser worked for a while and but now the device freezes again when I click on the browser icon from the menu/screen.

Vodafone have promised a call back within 24 hours (I know - not impressive).

I was wondering if anyone can help me resolve this myself?

    Thanks

    Kenny

This may or may not help a.n.other

I downloaded a(nother) Service Book from Vodafone

    I went to Settings/Advanced Options/Host Routing Table/Register

and then turned the phone off. Removed the battery (this is 'reboot' apparently) and...fingers crossed, famous last words...it seems to be working okay.

Jeez. What a workup. My Sony wasn't as hard work as this.

there seems to be a lot of problems with vodafone.
i am with vodafone as well and so far have not sorted out the problems i have.
internet browser deing the main one.(vodafone likes everyone using there vodafone live) and it seems they need a bit more training to know what users mean when they call.
service for normal user = very good
service for blackberry users = very poor.
