Dimmer issue at first was a bit annoying, but I got used to it. It's not really a big deal. Besides, i'm sure there will be another update to fix it. sooner or later.

First person I've seen say that. Personally it drives me crazy... don't know if I want to downgrade yet, but man, it sucks.

I believe it should be in Options>Screen/Keyboard.

    Hope this helps

Stormy. Check out my thead from yesterday. You have to uninstall the new one, not just delete it. And you must have a working copy of the old one. You can't just *go back* I have one but have no idea how to get it to others. Its really big file.
You can go settings*options*about and the third line is your version. Only .42 version has the auto dim turn off capability anf that is the version that came out with the first release from TMO.
Hope all this makes sense. If not. Feel free to pin me and I'll answer any questions I can.

yes it makes sense... now how can I get a working copy of .42 is the question.... now that I think about it, I also did the upgrade for the handset, so I am assuming that I have to uninstall that one too..... I noticed during the process that it erased all the stuff on the handset, then installed the new stuff.... afterwards the two annoying problems.....

Ok let me know. I keep forgetting RIM. My mind defaults to the carrier.
