I would assume he's talking about calls from private/blocked numbers...

    as to *69...no not that I've seen/found.

    Hey onlindis
Yeah... here in the states, if you miss getting to your land phone when a call comes in, many services offer what's caled Star 60 (*60).

By pressing * and then 69, your phone will call back the person who's call you just misssed.

Won't work, by the way, if they have call block on their line, or if for whatever reason their phone number doesn't get transmitted.

If you think abou it, it isn't that necessary for a cell phone, because, as someone in one of the above posts mentions, cell phones display who called you anyways.

(By the way, how's Canada? I'm considering moving there.....)

Not everyone shows up on caller ID. For instance, "unknown number", private number" or I have some with 000-000-0000, or some with 123......Just weird don't ya think?

I have no idea, that's why thank goodness for "ignore" or "red" buttons.

000-000-0000 is either a bill collector or spammer or advertiser...since these companies are using off-shore phone banks, the work around the do-not-call list is too move it off-shore and utilize no caller id or number not recognized...

Checked it out on Bell and does call return here, cool, learned something new. Canada's nice depends on what you want, if your not used to cold don't come in winter.
