1 Week With The 8120
And I have to say this thing outdoes every other phone I have ever owned. Other than 1 glitch that worked itself out, I have had no major device or software problems. Thank you RIM for a well built BB.
Erica, tell me more
This is from a previous post...
I am eligible for an upgrade, but still have not decided which one yet. The $100 savings alone is enough to sway me to the 8110. Don't think I need WiFi, but don't think I need a new Pearl yet because my 8100 still works like a champ
I played with the 8110 at my local at&t store on Sunday. I guess the stores do not carry the 8120. I like the feel of the updated keyboard, upper main keys and trackball. The OS updates are cool too, especially the enhanced web browsing.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I'm not sure about the 8110 because TMobile doesn't have that model. I had heard something from AT&T about the 8110 being for consumers on and the 8120 being for business but don't quote me on it.
My 8100 still works but it was beginning to freeze and other strange things.
Since there are two models, I would say get what fits your needs best.
From my understanding the 8120 and the 8110 are the exact same phone except the 8120 has WiFi and the 8110 has GPS.
Other than the obvious difference between providers (and the out of pocket costs), they are essentially the same.
I purchased the 8110 simply because it was cheaper than the 8120(and every where i can use wifi i have my laptop.....so)...... should have it tomorrow......washed my 8100 sunday night....
Is it clean now?

AND yes it was rather clean......however that did not matter due to the fact that it no longer WORKED!! lol
Do not power up! Take out the battery! If you put in plastic zip-lock w/ rice or *silicon packs (*like store-bought items for moisture cntrl., etc.,) for 24 hrs. , moisture will be gone.
Things that make this post null & void:
-Your device will not power-up after the above tried suggestion.
-You want a new device(despite what spouse says and this is a good one...then put the battery back in and try to pwr up constantly....)
