I'm confused, adding it? Wouldn't that mean I would lose my current plan? I like my BBminutes&mail plan though.

More time with Tech support no fix. Everyone with My Faves might stay away from the 8900.

I am at the 14 day window, so T-mo is sending me a brand new phone, (not refurbished) and that will start my 14 day window again. I hope they can figure their software problems out by then. If not, I will simply revert back to my old Curve. BEWARE EARLY ADOPTERS!!! If you have My Faves, better stay away from this phone until they fix it.

Isn't it adopter and not adapter?

Two people have problems so everyone should stay away. Makes sense to me. Also, my friend's uncle's cousin's former roommate told me that their Honda Accord had a bad spark plug once. Buyer beware!

I am getting my 8900 in the morning and look forward to finally having a do-everything device. Sweet.

I had the same problem until I uninstalled Berry A Code. Btw it caused the problem on my 8320 to but figured I would try it again.

Be certain you removed all 3rd party software and themes.

i have myfaves on the 8220 with no problems. i had one issue with it in the past when i had a 8100. one icon would not work. they gave me 100 extra mins a month for 3 months. Im going to be honest, MyFaves is a T Mo issue IMO. its their service thats available on all their phones. i assume when you call T Mo they foward you to their BB/PDA support department. If they didnt, request it. If hat person cant help you ask to be transfered to someone who can and dont let them talk ou into calling RIM. They did not create MyFaves. I dont see how so many have problems when calling T Mo. I call them and in ten minutes whatever problem i had gets fixed.
I hope your 8220 is running the 4.6.180 OS that T Mo provides. Ive constantly read of many people who upgrades to another OS which wont correctly have the My Faves work.

MyFaves worked for me on every one of the OS's I tried. I just minimize it anyway.

They still work. Even if you don't have the icons. Its better to not have it sucking up your memory. I don't understand what the issue is. Your not using normal minutes when calling fav 5. The system for billing still works the same.

Just to update. I've recently updated to adding MyFaves to my account.

I haven't had any issues with MyFaves not reappearing after a reboot.

What OS are you running? I'm currently on .152 and have had no issues.
