    Re: xm RADIO

Yep. I've been trying it for the last few days. I agree with the choppiness. I have tried this app on some of Cings 3G devices and it is quite nice. Too bad we are limited to the Edge network. Someday in the near future this will change, but for now I'll enjoy all the other wonderful things about my Berry. Its been over 2 years since I've used a WM device and I don't plan on going back. Well I might dable once they have the Berry emmulator aboard.

    Jscott--
You have to download this product. There should be a 'streaming radio' icon on your desktop that redirects you to the ota download url.

I have tried it on two different 8300's and it keeps locking up on me when asking to allow access permissions.

    Re: xm RADIO

I've had the same problems everyone else has had. Intersesting that XM would even offer this app with so many issues. Now if Sirius starts to offer this I'll have to get onboard since I'm already a subscriber.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ is it also a known issue that the radio doesn't work with the headphones or is that just me?

    Re: xm RADIO

Ok, now that I have a dock on my desk, a couple nice speakers hooked up to my curve, and I seem to be getting a solid 4-5 bars here, I figured I would re-try the XM Radio.

I got it working (learned that if you uninstall and re-install the XM Radio app, you get a brand new 3-day trial). It isn't breaking up much but there is one KEY FLAW.

While listening to XM RADIO, all calls go directly to voicemail.

That makes it useless for me. But if that issue was solved it was frustrating that:
    1. Volume is only achieved by moving the trackball left-right while it is active (no support for volume keys).
    2. There is no mute. Mute button does not work.
    3. Even playing with the volume or anything else causes a breakup in sound.
    4. Push email is paused while playing (when I terminated it, 6 emails came in right away).
    5. Other data services (SimulSays) are also paused while XM Radio is playing.
So I gave it a fair try, still needs work, not for me.
