Why is my blackberry app world freezing up on me

Hey so I installed the blackberry app world on my phone yesterday in order to have facebook and myspace on my phone and only used it that one time because everytime I would enter back into it it kept freezing up on the loading screen..I would have to do a restart in order to get the phone back up and working and every time it start back up it says something like "uncaught exemption program terminated : bb world app"..im not sure if exemeption is the word because it popped off the screen lol..sooo what do I do? I Have tried uninstalling it then installing it back on my phone but it does nothing..thanks

Mine does the same thing, and my system memory plumits when using the app. I think there is definatly a major memory leak in the app world.

hmmm oh well im just not going to worry about it..

Dont know if this matters or not? When i downloaded and used on my 8310 Curve with 4.5 OS is was slow and always froze up on me, but when I switch to my 9000 Bold, I no longer have this issue. Maybe dif OS, maybe 3G, maybe both?

pretty much same happened on my bb when i downloaded the bb app world...it's a memory hog for sure..after i downloaded the program i needed, i took it out and my bb never freezes up again..better check ur memory...

i got that here and there with that and there is nothing really good about it just list apps so i trashed the thing

yeah now have to watch out for carriers pushing it too your device. Verizon just pushed it last night had to delete the service book then the app too.

yea after i removed it had to hide the stupid icon, but then i was thinking to my self got pushed on by telus so went and did the service book thing and gone lol gotta love the bb and the options

well if u trying to install the app resending the service books wont do nothing, if u tryin to remove it and got it removed but see the icon and want it gone u have to go into the service books and remove it from there to get that icon off the screen

To remove go to options»advanced options»service books. Look for bb app world highlight it hit menu then delete.

Try uninstall it and try again they may have updated it.

You might now have to do all of that. I was told to make sure I close out every program I open properly. Go to the menu and select exit or close on everything you open and I noticed that my phone ran a lot smoother and only hour glassed when about to load a website, I had app world and didn't have any problems with it, but got rid of it becasue it was a waste of space to me.
