    Why does mail do this?

So I like the fact that I can delete mail from both my handheld and my mailbox after Ive read it on my cuve. However, why doesnt it delete from my curve if Ive deleted it from my mailbox first? Ive tried reconciling(hoping that would work) but it doesnt help. Anyone got a clue or is just the way it is.

That is exactly how mine works... (I think)

when i yank it out of my mailbox, it definitely disappears from Curve Curve...

Hmm, how quickly does it disappear from the device? Is there a way to refresh the inbox on the BB to reflect the update? Im only using my yahoo email on the device at the moment if that makes a difference.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~it depends on what type of account you are using. They say that yahoo and gmail accounts will two way syncm. I have yet to see it work for me. The only account that works like that for me is my msn account.

Re: Why does mail do this?

The truly odd part of this must be that it's a 4.2 issue because my former 7130e would reconcile by itself (I delete the email in Outlook and refreshed on it's own within a couple minutes at most) OR I went into the email menu and hit reconcile. However the reconcile doesn't work now through the menu on BES. A very odd development.

Re: Why does mail do this?

Ok, so my IT manager just made an idot out of me.

He said, "Well, your reconcile option should not be on prompt it should be on Mailbox & Handheld in order for it to do what you're talking about, which is deleting on the device when you delete in Outlook." I argued with him momentarily and gave in and decided to try it. Well it worked! Device reconciles with Outlook automatically now. Odd thing is that I used to have my 7130e setup for Prompt and it wasn't a problem. Oh well!

    I hate being wrong.

(Thanks for the "cute cat" comment. Ain't she great!?!?)

Maybe this just doesnt work for POP emails(Im using Yahoo) because I tried what you suggested and the emails are still on my phone but had been deleted in my yahoo.

(EDIT) Oop wait it did it. Rock on!

Whats this rollout you so speak of? I think I may have shot my excitement load too quickly. I still have emails on my phone 20 mins later. This is stinky.
