    White specks underneath screen

Ok, im back with another problem. The problem of call failing has stopped, i think. Anyway, I saw a thread on this before but could not find it again so I will have to start a new one. On my black berry there are white specks underneath the screeen. I had the same problem with my razor adn I think it has something to do with the pressure but Im not sure. Any way to get rid of it? It annoys the hell out of me. Thank you.

i have the same problem with my 8320 and my razr i had a long time ago! I went to a cell phone repair shop when i had my razr and the said it was dust/pocket lint. They had to remove the screen to remove it. That might have to be done with your BB. it doesn't bug me that much.

Yeah I hate dust under the screen more than anything! The best thing I could tell you is exchange it for another one! Seriously. The newer curves seem to be buit better as well.

Plus the rubber skins do a decent job of keeping *most* dust out. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Yes...that true. the newer curves do do a decent job keeping most dust out. I have had My 8320 for like 3 months now and i have only got one speck of dust. Yes!!

I've been told that if you take off the housing and take some kind of a blower, you can actually blow away the dust without having to wipe it. It's worked for me.

You could do that. But doing that is not that easy. It's a BB. Built tough.

I had to figure it out on my own, but this video explains it pretty well. Goodluck! Take your time.

Oh, and you only need to get to around 1 minute 20 seconds into the video to clean your screen. DON'T leave smudges, it'll drive you nuts later on.

Perfect - thank you! I'll have to try this too. Time to get a torx driver and air duster.

haha okay what they don't tell you is that the screws are extremely easy to break. As I put the case back together I seemed to have tightened the T5 screw a little too much and it cracked in half

Now I have to find out how to get replacement screws . . what a pain.
