Sorry for the newbie question, but what exactly is "tethering"?
I can see both sides of the argument and if I didn't have T-Mo and the H@H, I might think that the GPS option was the best (aa I never really use wi-fi to surf as I always have the laptop with wi-fi with me and prefer to surf on it), but due to the use of wi-fi to increase reception and get free calls (with the H@H) I just gotta go with the 8320 as the more useful of the devices, but like I said before, I don't travel to destinations unknown and have yet to get lost on my 3 mi commute to work.
I don't have much need for GPS so I absolutely love my 8320. WiFi is my best friend!
gotta get da 8310...
I would say the 8310... just because I need gps
mine red att 8310 its a beast i get reception everywhere in ny from my basement to wherever....
ps. the gps is great too
just got the 8320...and had all day to play with it and mod it and i'm in love with Ms. Curve...it's even lighter than the pearl...well maybe it just feels that way because the pearl has a more centralized center of gravity...anyways never looking back...now if i could just smoothly adjust to the full qwerty
How does going on WiFi use the internet for calls?
Just like VOIP... well i guess it is voip -
The call is made over the wifi connection, thus not deducting minutes from your monthly call balance... it's hopefully a process that will be adopted by most carriers, as consumers can clearly see the benefit here... and eventually it's going to help stabilize insane mobile phone plan rates and overages
iPhone 3G & BOLD
as ive said before , at&ts reception is THAT much better that we dont need wifi connection to get service inside our homes . i cant speak for tMob because it works when it wants to in my house . and to those that have the crimson 8310 , the keyboard is THE best . its not all cheap sounding like the titanium 8320 i have . it makes a loud noise when i type . i hate that .
hello, im fabulous !!
just got my 8310 today i dont love my old pearl anymore
I guess I pick mine 8320
