There are a number of threads extolling the virtues of 4.5. I like the vastly improved web browser and more sophisticated media player. You can also take video with the camera and use your flash as a flashlight. Others can chime in or you can find other info with a Search.

That only works on Pearls, not on Curves.

If "That" means the "Flashlight" that does work on my Curve, but you have to do to much: Video Camera > Menu > Options > Video Light > On - Thats just a bit to much when now a days you can get a small keychain Maglite

Now, if you plan to listen to music on your BB, with the 4.5 upgrade your Media Player now has a "Preset Equalizer"

I like the more refined look of the email, the calendar and the web browser. The Html email is worth the upgrade alone. No more jumbled looking links!

Yeah, I brought the BBEmail Viewer when I had the old OS, and now I don't even use it, the html browswer is much better, with "Google Search" built in.

Thanks, DJ! Forgot about having video now with the 4.5 OS. But you're right, that does sound like too much work! After you've done all that, your eyes have already adjusted to the dark!

I just Leave the flash on! It doesnt stay on, only when you hit the vid camera icon. works great as a flashlight for me. I love the improved memory! it still leaks a little, but hasn't ran out since the upgrade! you MUST upgrade!

I updated my 8320 (TMobile) and love the upgrade so far....but I can't seem to get the HTML e-mail to work. I do have BBSmart installed (but not active).

Can someone give me a pointer as to how to get the HTML e-mail to work?

    Thanks!
