i downloaded the OS from the T-Mo site, decided to unlock the vendor themes, let it update my BB. For some reason it wanted to install spanish support, so i let it. I went back in afterwards to remove it. When I did it allowed me to install the applications it has been refusing all weekend

Re: what programs have u installed on to your 8320 ???

After a day at work (and playing with the curve...)
    I found the following;

    1. Bb dimension today, does not show upcoming events on calendar.

    2. When using opera I have to give it permission (low level) to access the net.
I changed the permissions in blackberry options, to 'allow' it had no effect.

    3. Speaking of opera, the new version (4b) does not display properly. (No little box to move around the screen to zoom in)

    4. When trying to get on the net with the t mobile browser, quite often I get the following error, a problem occurred can not render page.

    5. gmail app will not run

I did do the apn stuff

    bbweather works, but slow

    Ideas?

    Thanks

here is the link for gmail. it works perfect on mine. i didn't work on my pearl very well but the 8320 handles it fine.

has anyone found a free sudoku that will load? i tried downloading a few from mobilerated.com, but none of them would load. i'm also looking for "drinkipedia." "drinkipedia" is pretty much a bartending guide, which came in really handy because i bartend on the weekends and if i didn't know a drink i would look it up on there on my pearl. i keep getting a fatal error on the 8320 when i try to load it.

Dont worry guys, we were all just like you. You'll get a hang of the OS, lingo and apps very soon. Trust me, you're in the right place. Pinstack is the best resource for your blackberry.

Re: what programs have u installed on to your 8320 ???

    I have :

    twitterberry OTA link http://orangatame.com/ota/twitterberry/TwitterBerry.jad
    google maps OTA http://m.google.com
    viigo RSS reader OTA http://mobile.virtualreach.com/cgi/OTA/download_bb.php

I tried to install Yahoo GO but it is not yet available for 8320 and I guess Yahoo did not update their list of user agent to accept 8320 as client.
