I looked at my database sizes, and I have a lot of Memory taken up in "Content Store". I'm not exactly sure what that could be, its 10183.8k worth..

Hey Focuztorch, your memory is a tad low. Usually, when you fall below 16 mb or so, your bb will start deleting your call logs and your msgs. You may want to consider freeing up some memory. Let me find you the thread to do that. I'll post it up in a sec.

Here you go. This was recommended to me by someone on PS and I found it extremely helpful.

Well, it is recommended that your memory count be a little higher. The Curves have a tendency to delete call logs and sms/mms/emails on their own if the memory count is low. I had about 16mb and was having problems. My call logs would delete on their own. After freeing up my memory, I have about 25mb now and my call logs haven't deleted itself since.

Re: What is a good free memory amount?

Today while I went to work with my bf, there was a guy who had a problem with his bb. It would freeze up whenever he was using voice dialing. I ended up "fixing" the problem by deleting the sample video off his 8310 and then deleting his event log (ALT +LGLG, bb button, clear log, verify deletion). Anyhow, his phone didn't freeze up after that. I also recommended he go to ps and find threads on how to free up memory. Oooh, I also told him to buy a micro sd. I learned everything I know from PS. He had about 8mb and was already having problems.

I've deleted PTT, voice dialing, all preinstalled wallpapers, the AT&T theme, and Blackberry MDS Runtime. I have installed the Chinese application, Jivetalk, Pinstack Launcher, Yahoo! Go and BBSmart Email Viewer. Without running Jivetalk, I have 25,134,681 free.
