I'm still debating getting this or the 8220 to replace my 8120. My big issue is portability since I am disabled. Some pouches and cases aren't comfortable on my chair's seatbelt.

I really like the key lock and standby keys at the top for even when I'm putting my phone in my case or even when I'm holding it while I walk into work. Its a really nice and convient or it I wan to just yoss it in my pocket for a min and won't call anyone unexpectedly.

I gave up my bb pearl 8100 and my gold 8320. And bought my 8900 for straight up cash. I still have my other bb's for back up. I loved the 8320 a lot, but 8900 is so much nicer. And if I had AT&T I'd would definitley by the 9000 because it's just like the 8900 but bigger and the buttons are nice and flat.

I sold my 9530 for the 8900! I just couldn't get use to the 9530 and I hated texting on it! Before that I had a 8320

Considering getting rid of my 8800 for the 8900, just not sure if I should stay with AT&T or go to T-Mobile. T-Mobile doesn't charge for tethering which is a nice perk, for me.

I didn't really give up the other phone for this. S.E. messed up my C-905 and wouldn't fix what they messed up (sent it for warranty and they damaged it with scratches and such). So I sold it and couldn't decide on a phone. I was sick of spending $500+ on phones (been doing it for a long time over the years). BB seems to make very good devices and the 8900 was only $150 for me.

I use to love Sony Ericsson but now I'm done with them. Nokias are awesome too, but damn, the new phones they release are like $700+.
