sounds like you need to resend your service books

log onto your carriers website and send the service books.

If you have AT&T try going to http://www.mycingular.blackberry.com/ and log in. Under settings in the menu click on Service Books then click on the button that comes up called Send Service Books. This should help.

If you have any problems with your phone try doing what I said first. It will fix most problems with email and things like the web browser not coming up.

I went from pearl to curve as well and I am a lil unhappy too. I got the curve because I thought I would be(which I was told;damn salesman) a better device. It does have its good points and all but there are no impressive upgrades to downloads that "I'm" aware of. Maybe XM but that's all. Anyone have another?

yah i wanted to upgrade the pearl to a full keyboard cause i want really using the email,, i had a 8700 for work but they stopped paying for the service so i wanted to merge my personal phone with my email accounts so i was thinking the pearl would be the solution.. too early to see if i like this unit

upgrades to downloads? what do you mean?

the curve IS an upgrade. it will take a 4gb card now (2g on pearl), with a 2mp camera (1.3 on pearl) with max res set at 1600x1200 and pics can be taken in black and white OR sepia, bigger screen, updated media gui, xm radio.
