    Who's your carrier? They probably offer a GPS application with voice for a fee.

    vodacom but which of these application works best for 8520 cos the fone doesnt have inbult gps,i want to know ow i could still get turn by turn voice gps

    If the phone doesn't have GPS on it you can't use any kind GPS service on it as far as I know. You might try Google maps and get approximate location using the tower triangulation. Other than that, ?

    You would have to get a GPS Navigation Receiver or "puck" for your device, then utilize one of the mobile GPS applications offered by the likes of TeleNav, Garmin, et al.

    true but i have blackberry map,thats just sucks!

    I didn't mention the GPS "puck" mainly because I found it to be more trouble than help when I tried it a couple of years ago. My "puck" kept disconnecting from my phone, etc. and was just a mess to try to use. I could have been me though - others may have had more success with. I DOES work - it just didn't work well for me. That's was the beginning of me with a GPS receiver in my car leaving the phone to provide "other" functions.

    BB Maps or Google Maps will both give you directions, but no voice.

    Just saw this. Google Maps if far superior to BB Maps IMO. Did you ever make a decision on this?

    there are ways around this

    Just go buy a bluetooth that is gps and walla that will work for you. Thats what I did works great!
