    Viewing e-mailed photos?

I know I used to be able to look at photo's sent to me on my curve. I have Empower Pro on my phone. I could not find another link that was helpful. E-mails just say that there is an attachment. I am unable to open them. The picture is only 82k. Any idea's? Thanks in advance and merry christmas.

I think even if you have Empower MailTou still should be able to hit menu key and choose open attachment.

That's what I thought. When I hit menu key, there is not an option for attachments. In the option's menu, I selected to view all images but still nothing.

I have this same issue. Suprised that Empowered can't read the embedded images as jpgs... Well this happens with my gmail account, so I use the gmail application and it lets me view them. You would think there is some sort attachment viewer 3rd party app...anyone?

I'm using Empower Pro and dont have this problem. As a backup I have Beamberry to open attachments also (doesn't open Pics though). I just did a test with a 171kb JPG image and emailed it to one of my email accounts. The option to open attachment was there and it opened just fine with the BB attachment service.

I would say, resend your service books and go to options>advanced options>Host routing table>hit BB Button and select register now.

You should just scroll over to it and hit Menu. Then the options should come up. Attachments should be located at the top.

Go to options>advanced options>Applications on your BB. Do you see Blackberry Attachment Services there?

Well thats the problem. Go into Desktop Manager on your PC with BB connected via USB. Then go to Application Loader and look for BB Attachment Services and check it off and make sure it says install under action. Then hit next, make sure it is installing it (not uninstalling or anything) and hit next. Then it will install it and you BB might reboot. That should solve your problem.

Np. Glad to see you got it up and running again. Those sorts of things happen occasionally.
