    Question Video Playback Issue

Has anyone else notice if you have your phone set to auto lock, playback does not interupt this. I have not checked this with audio playback, but I assume this will also happen.

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

    Re: Video Playback Issue

so let me make sure I got you, when your phone locks you want the audio/video to stop playing.
I think that it's set that way for a reason, if you don't have a case for it or it's in your pocket, and you don't want to press any keys you can lock it and still listen to watever playlist or audio files you are listening to with the interuption.

    Hope this helps

Hmm, not sure if that is correct. I am currently watching a movie, and if the phone locks, the movie stops playing. I need to enter my password to continue playing the movie.

Sounds like you need to turn OFF the auto lock. Which if you are on a BES maybe a problem.

    Re: Video Playback Issue

Well, that defeats the purpose of AutoLock . I may contact RIM to see if this is an "issue" or a "feature".

    Re: Video Playback Issue

I guess the device is not seeing the Video Player as "Activity" on the device. Me personally I change the camera key to lock the device, And don't use Autolock. With All I paid for it it is not really ever unattended

PS. It is a "Fissue" Part Feature, Part Issue!

I may just do that or change the auto lock time to 150 minutes.
