What Verizon has done with the GPS on this phone is absolute BS. Has anyone figure out a way to enable the GPS to work with a program other than VZWNavigator. If not we the customer need to come together and make a stand against this nonsense. If we purchase a phone we have the right to decide what features we use, especially if they advertise the phone as having GPS enabled. I have spoken on the phone with Verizon countless times about this issue and the only thing stopping a change is a lack of support from the customers.

i have tried google maps with street view and frankly it just doesnt do it for me. VZ naviagtor is worth the $10 bucks of unlimited use. If you truely need a great gps applicatioin for your phone then the $10 bucks shouldnt be an issue. If you want something free then youll have to settle for something far inferior to VZ nav. just my 2cents
