    Vendor Logo on the Curve

Does anyone know what I could use to remove the AT&T or T-Mobile logo's from the 8310/8320 phone?
I don't want to ruin the color or anything, just safely and cleanly remove the logo, without scratches etc...

Is it paint? Would a shoe polish remover work? etc...

Just curious and open to ideas or suggestions to anyone who might have done this already.

the most successful has been a sugar cube...just the right coarseness for the job...just note that doing this with a sugar cube takes time and caution...first you must tape up the phone leaving only the logo you want to debadge exposed...this ensures that any sugar granules coming off the cube will not get inside your phone (sugar is worse than sand...water soluble and caramelizes under heat)...make sure you start of extremely light with your touch and slowly work in more pressure to ensure that you're getting the logo off

hope this helps...many people have done it successfully so this should be no problem...just note that it will dull the finish a little around the logo since your scratching it all off...good luck...post back with progress or pics

I haven't decided 100% if I'm going to do this or not. But thank you all for the advice, I never would have guessed a sugar cube!

a few friends of mine used pencil erasers to remove the T-Mobile branding from the metal frame around the screen of their MDAs. looks like factory, since it was barely any grit. and the fact that its metal

May I ask why you want to remove the logo? I just don't see the point.

I used a blade but you really have to be careful. I messed up but I ended up painting my curve all black

An idea, you can always get a skin for it, from decalgirl. I love mine! It definitely hide the carrier name.

Hehehe yeah why bother removing it! On my titanium t-mo it looks crisp while it has Blackberry written on the top of phone and t-mobile at the bottom. I barely even notice it and the skin idea is a good idea trickie636!

You could also purchase an unbranded faceplate from cnn.cn.
