Vaio GPS receiver, Blackberry Maps and my 8320

I know that there are plenty of good GPS recievers out there.
After spending over 2 weeks, I'd decided to give this little device a try.

I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it performed way beyond my expectations.

The first thing I like about it is its small size. As you can see from the pictures, it is about 70% to 80% of the Pearl's size and it even comes with a nice strap belt.
It is also accurate enough for me to know what turns I need to make ahead of time ,going at 40 mph in downtown Seattle.

I've tried the device with Google Maps, Blackberry Maps and couple others.
So far it seems to be working in perfect harmony with Blackberry Maps. RIM knows what they are doing after all.

I will try to post more as I learn more about the device.

To me, it seems like this purchase really paid off for my endless searching

Just get a Holux GPSlim 236 or one of their similar models. Can be had for about $60 from many places and it's smaller than that Sony.

Bonus: Standard Mini-USB charging/power plug, as well as included home/car cords.

    Other (free) software to try:
    - amAze. Get it here OTA: wap dot amazegps dot com
    - Telenav. Get it here OTA: ota dot telenav dot com slash ota slash tn slash choice slash at_rim dot html

    (can't post URLs? lame.)

The Telenav link I posted above is not free. My bad. Here's something better (with voice guidance!)

http colon slash slash mqnav dot telmap dot com slash mqota slash clients slash Sprint slash 8703e slash mqn dot jad

    OTA Install.

It works great with my T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8320. Trust me you'll love it. :-D
