I thought you already cleared Profiles and it still wouldn't do the backup, correct? Even though the other doesn't show anything, won't hurt to clear it as well.

Ok that got it. I was clearing profile options and not profiles. I cleared profile options and its doing the backup now.
Funny that even after I cleared the profiles it showed 5 files remaining, must be the built on profiles.
Now onto the 4.5 download, keep your fiongers crossed.

Could someone please pm me as to how to do this? Much appreciated

Seems to me that downloading a ring tone, or whatever's causing this to happen to so many people, indicates a flaw somewhere that RIM should be advised of

I hate to loose my ringtones. Two of them I dont even know where i first got them from so once they are gone they are gone. One is a star wars them ringer, and the other is the theme from rocky ringer. I hate to loose them but I dont seem to have files for them anywhere.

    ~Coach go to www.funformobile.com
Click on ringtones, then type Star Wars and Rocky in the search field respectively. You'll find them.
Could somebody please tell me what Profiles are, and where to find their settings on the handheld

Berry, depending on your theme, you should have a Profiles icon on your home screen. Open that, scroll all the way down until you reach Advanced and there you will find all the different profiles you can modify.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Cheers,
    Roger

Thank you Roger. It lists all of my contacts that I've assigned a custom ringtone to.

Someone please outline this bug to RIM, as it's prevalently reported.
Solution was outlined by our exceptional Rogro, or Roger.
Go to Advanced on Backup, highlight Profiles, click on Clear. Problem solved. Don't think you lose ringtones Coach, just have to reassign between backups until RIM solves this problem
