Try infospace findit. It's not GPS but it does give you audible turn by turn directions which must be done manually and it's free to download here in the Download section.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ you weren't able to get telenav on your 8310 through tmo? I was able to get telenav fine and it worked flawlessly... But now I use mapquest navigator. It definately isn't as full featured as telenav but it gets the job done and is about $5 cheaper if you buy a year subscription.

I use Nav4all. It's UI may not be as slick as Telenav, but it's free (without advertising). I used it this past week to navigate from central Florida to eastern Maryland and all points and stops in between. The turn-by-turn spoken directions were dead on.
