Tuning my BB - Pinstack Mobile App-slows down my 8320 BB?

First, I appologise if this is posted somewhere already, it takes forever and a day to get anywhere on the web with this BLACKBERRY.
I recently installed the Pinstack Mobile Application. I like itan it works great! Except it causes my BLACKBERRY to freeze and get the HourGlass on the middle of the screen. I have to pull the battery constantly- at least 15 times a day! I also noticed the it also kills my battery.
Yesterday I uninstalled/deleted this app. And everything is fine/perfect again.
Does anyone know what causes it?
Is there a fix for it?
I would like to re-install it again if I can, but only if I can use my phone normally again.
By the way, I have 2 GB of memory on here, but I don't think that matters. And I have the latest handheld version as well.

    Thanks in advance!!!!

On the 8230 the 2Gb card does not matter much. ALL apps are still installed on the device memory. Sounds like you are low on memory or possibly have multiple apps running in the background.

    Devices are strange.

I don't think there are multiple apps open. How do I check it? I usually get out of things. I also don't have much stuff on here to begin with. No games-got a psp for that.
It usually sits on the home page at all times.

Alt + Escape key (back arrow) shows you a list of open apps.

The only way I know how to do that is to open the app and select Menu -> Close. I typically am in a habit of doing that rather than just hitting the End key when I'm done.

    Nope, I don't think that's my issue. It only shows;
    Mail
    Phone
BlackBerry mess-which won't stop running when I choose "close"
    And my Home screen open.
But thanks for that Alt + back tip!

Weird. Which app is it? The one just recently posted:

Or is it the older one?

Oh, and some applications, such as BB messenger, always stay open - just the way it is.

Be aware that some aps have choices of "close" and "exit" - if that's the case "exit" is usually the choice that ends the ap. Just FYI - I learned that the "old fashioned way."

Homeuser, Be aware that bb messenger, home screen, call log, browser and messages are always open on your Blackberry. (Almost) anything else should be able to be closed.

Also from the main screen you can press the menu key and select "switch application" - that'll show you everything that's running same as alt+esc - I use both and all the time.
