trying to impress my girlfriend- Upgrading her OS?

I'm tryin to upgrade my girl's 8310 on my computer, but I've got an 8100 Pearl and the Desktop Manager and computer are both onboard with my little phone. My girl's elegant, stylish, and stable... so of course...
    she's got a Mac!

My question: Do I have to somehow hide the software that's associated with the 8100 to get the whole 8310 show on the road (backing up data, installing new os, etc.), and if so how might I hide it?

    thx!

nope you dont need to hide the 8100 os, they both are for diff devices....
When i say i have Bold family phones, I meant it, from the older to the younger, even the unborn ;)

As Elmer stated there is no need to do anything with the 8100 OS. Since they are two different devices you will be fine just downloading and installing to her device. As an example I have OS for my Curve, Pearl and 8830 all on my PC and depending on which device is connected that is the one recognized.

You can look here for the latest Official OS offered for the 8320. You can use any OS as long as you delete the vendor.xml. If needed check the helpful links in my sig and it will give you how to's and other good links to help you out.
