Your lucky because I dropped mine yesterday. In the leather case on a gym floor from waist level.
Now my track ball feels like it is sticking when rolling down.
I took it apart totally. Cleaned it and checked the rollers & ball.
Helped some but ordered a new assembly to replace it.

I dropped my Pearl of an Fire engine and didn't know it, it bounced under the truck there the pump is, and of course water I got done testing the pump, put the truck up and drove home, it was at this point I realized my Pearl was MIA. I just knew I drove the truck over it and crushed it too. I got back to the station and found it face down in a puddle of water, I pulled the battery and dried it for a couple days. It has a little discoloration on the LCD that is only noicable on white backgrounds, and of course a ding or 2 form the drop and bounce. I have since sworn off case with out a Flap, and as per another tread asking about case I use a case made for a camera. works great. And the pearl my wife has been using for 6 months. She is getting a new red one for Mothers day but she dosen't know that LOL
