    True story no joke!

So I was driving with my friend the other day to go see a movie and we were on the highway doing about 55mph. Everything was going good until he locked the windows and wouldent let us get some fresh air. So it was my idea that I would outsmart him and open the door instead. The only problem was that by curve was in my lap because I was messaging someone at the time. And as I opened my door to "outsmart" the driver my curve slipped off my lap and onto the highway!

Of course I was thinking at the time my phones a gonner but I yelled at the driver to have him stop. As I ran back to my poor phone I could only imagne the damage oncomming traffic could have done to it but as I picked it up it looked unharmed! I ran back to the car and we drove away but as we did so I throughly checked every inch of my phone. Later that night when I got my phone into better light I discovered that it had no damage!

I was amazed the only thing protecting my phone from the pavement was a thin layer of silicone rubber. To this day I an still amazed my curve survived but I know if I had an iphone it would have been toast. My blackberry is a tough litle cookie!!

Its always a good idea to open the doors of a moving vehicle. Especially at highway speeds.

Maybe you need a berrybelt (similar to your seatbelt) if you're going to be opening doors at highway speed.

I always drop my Curve out on the freeway, after all, it says "Titanium" in the product description.

The question is, what brand of case do you own? Could be a celebrity endorsement in it for you, Jimmy!

Hah nice story! I love how you "outsmart" the driver by opening a door at highway speed lol! That gold! But i am impressed about the survival, last time that happened to me my old moto became the worlds thinest phone! I personally use seido cases, they to my experience are the best on the market.

    Hmmmmmm,

I am wondering, perhaps some people just should not be allowed to have Blackberries.

I disagree, that's the worst thing, not have a BB! Imagine yourself without a BB, that is the worst thing in the world! I think some people should not be allowed to drive, or be inside a moving viecle for that matter!
