Trackball Issue: May I have some help PLEASE!

Thanks Everyone for looking at my post! Let's get to the problem. I have a 8300 that I have had for awhile and the trackball fell out of it one day and I ordered a new one and I put it in he phone and now the BB doesn't even come back on. Yes it did come on before but it doesn't now. Does anybody know what I need to do to get my BB back to life!

I don't think your trackball is the problem.first try a battery pull. If that fails connect too your pc and update the software. If this still fails I will post further action.

    Good luck.

    I seccond this recommendation...
you may have to leave the battery out while you run apploader, but we can get to that later. let us know what happens so we can direct you further

1st I did get another BB which is the 8900! 2nd I did a battery pull with no luck. 3rd I did plug it into the pc and it still would not come or even recognize the BB.

Yes I love the 8900! But I was wanting to get the 8300 working for my girlfriend because she was starting to enjoy it! She was well on her way to becoming an addict!

Well. Download the latest jl_cmdr if you don't have it already. Once installed you will be able to access your blackberry without dm but only for certain actions. You need to close dm and device manager beforehand. Once you have, connect your device and type the password if required. Then wipe the device completely with the onscreen commands offered and then open Dm and reinstall your latest software for it. It should be recognised once wiped. I will post a link for jl_cmdr momentarily.
