    Just colored mine with a square cut from a clear plastic cd jacket. Works pretty good, but I've noticed coloring with a sharpie "dims" the pearl. Might want to try a overhead transparency marker.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I just use 2 pieces of cut scotch tape. color both pieces of the tape and then cut the tape just big enough to cover the hole where the led sits. then i stick one piece of tape on top of the other piece of tape. then i stick the tape over the hole where the led sits. It gives off a good bright color and lasts for awhile.

    They need to comeout with aftermarket trackballs that just come in a transparent color sort of like a rubber ball. that would be tight
